Those who visited the exhibition ‘Three’ during the CityLeaks Festival were able to travel around the globe and far beyond without having to leave the hall.
Hendrik Beikirch’s photoreal black-and-white paintings made the viewer able to relate to the artist’s journeys with American Greyhound buses and the Trans-Siberian railroad. Cope2 showed abstract works as well as classic ‘graffiti trains’, which took the viewer into the Bronx. Super A drove his audience into completely exaggerated worlds in which the boundaries between reality and comic dissolve.
